UCRA — a website that brings them home
A molecular search-dog unit for finding lost animals. A service that works across Italy and has to be found — and trusted — at the worst moment for the person searching.
The challenge
Someone who has just lost their animal is in a panic. They look for help immediately, often at night, from their phone. In those ten seconds they have to grasp what you do, trust you and decide to call. A service like this can't be sold with an anonymous site: it needs absolute clarity and immediate authority.
What we did
We built a site that says it all in one line — «lost your animal? we bring them home» — and that guides the searcher step by step: how the search works starting from a scent reference, the coverage across Italy, and a contact always within reach.
A sober, reassuring design, no frills, made for a moment of stress. And a structure optimized for the niche searches people actually arrive with: «molecular search dog unit», «lost dog search».
How it gets found now
UCRA owns a precise, uncrowded niche: the site is built to rank on those searches and, above all, to convert at the decisive moment, taking the searcher to contact in as few steps as possible.
The result is online: ucra.it.
The proof
Not theory — here's what the site does, measured.
- Google #1 for «unità cinofila ricerca animali» (IT)
- Lighthouse 100 accessibility, best practices and SEO
- Lighthouse 97 performance
Organic growth since launch (source: Search Console). Qualitative representation — no figures, to protect the client's data.

Ask Google Gemini, in Italian, how to find a lost pet with search dogs:
Among the first names it returns is UCRA — the site we built.
Tested on 30 June 2026 on Google Gemini, in Italian (UCRA serves Italy). AI answers change over time and vary from person to person: that's why we don't show a screenshot — we give you the question. Try it.
And when you ask «how can I contact UCRA?», the assistant doesn't stop at a link: it offers to call. Because the contact is structured so the AI understands it and turns it into an action.
